JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pickleball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pickleball or related sports, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and inspiring players. As a pickleball coach, you will be responsible for developing players’ skills, organizing training sessions, and promoting the sport within the community.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coaching and Instruction
- Conduct individual and group coaching sessions for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve players' technical, tactical, and physical skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help players reach their full potential.
- Program Development
- Design and organize pickleball clinics, workshops, and events to engage the community and promote the sport.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and expand the club's coaching programs and offerings.
- Player Development
- Identify and nurture talent, providing opportunities for players to participate in tournaments and competitions.
- Monitor and assess players' progress, adjusting training programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Community Engagement
- Actively participate in club events and activities, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members.
- Promote pickleball through outreach initiatives and partnerships with local schools, organizations, and events.
- Safety and Maintenance
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all players by adhering to club policies and safety guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, reporting any issues to the management team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Pickleball Coach or in a related coaching role, with a strong
understanding of the sport. - Certification or formal training in coaching or sports instruction is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate players.
- Strong organizational and time–management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sessions and programs.
- Passionate about pickleball and dedicated to promoting the sport within the community.
