Account & Events Senior Executive

JOB OVERVIEW

Pickle Social Club is seeking an experienced and dedicated Account & Event Senior Executive to join our dynamic team. This role combines client account management and event coordination, requiring a unique individual who can effectively balance both aspects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client relationship management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for event planning and execution.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Management
    1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
    2. Understand the client's business goals, objectives and preferences, and develop strategies to help them achieve those goals.
    3. Develop and execute account plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
    4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, as well as with prospective clients.
    5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
    6. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our products or services.
    7. Prepare contracts, agreements, quotations and invoices to clients.
    8. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and the client.
    9. Provide regular updates and reports to management on account status and sales performance.
    10. Stay up to date with industry best practices and market trends to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
  • Event Management
    1. Work with the team to conceptualise, plan and manage all internal and external events with marketing team and operations team for the sole purpose of revenue generation, customer acquisition, community engagement, and more.
    2. Plan, organise and execute events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
    3. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial plans.
    4. Liaise with clients, vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
    5. Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, staffing, catering, etc.
    6. Work closely with the internal team and external parties to promote events and maximise brand exposure.
    7. Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
    8. Manage event-related inquiries and resolve any issues or problems that arise.
    9. Produce post-mortems of events for future reference and next steps for upcoming events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (or a related field) or demonstrable experience in event management with the potential and attitude required to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
